Dr. Edwards has one true goal: to provide his patients with the best possible care to meet their oral health needs. While every service our Easley dentist offers are chosen to help as many different people as possible, he understands that no one service will help every person’s unique situation. Therefore, Dental Associates of Easley offers a wide range of options within our dental procedures to best meet the needs of all patients.
For example, Dr. Edwards proudly offers same-day dental crowns through the use of CEREC. This system enables him to give most of his patients a necessary, durable, and beautiful dental restoration conveniently. However, some patients may have extenuating circumstances, such as severe teeth grinding or jaw clenching, that may require a specific restoration, such as a gold or full zirconia crown, for additional strength under these conditions. Therefore, our Easley dentist also utilizes the assistance of a dental laboratory to fabricate an even stronger crown in these unique situations, broadening the number of ways we can help you maintain your oral health.
Dr. Edwards offers a comprehensive range of dental services for most dental needs. Our Easley dentist is particularly proud of the dental implant placements and restorations, general dental procedures, and cosmetic dentistry services our practice provides.
Dr. Shawn Edwards, DMD, has been providing friendly, professional dental services since 2005. From your very first visit, your Easley dentist will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that takes into account your unique oral-care needs.
Traditionally, if crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were required to restore damaged teeth, multiple procedures and a great deal of waiting time in-between would be inevitable. CEREC®️ creates these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. This means that many treatments can be completed in just a single visit.
Our Easley dental practice maintains a commitment to open communication with our patients. We believe that all of our patients deserve to understand what it is we do for them and how it helps them maintain a beautiful, healthy smile.
Dental implants replace the root of a tooth that is no longer present. They create a strong foundation for a fixed or removable tooth. There are many reasons Dr. Edwards may suggest for you to get an implant; you could be missing a tooth or need something to help anchor a denture.
